As most will attest we have known each other for a while. This year will mark our 7th year of dating. With a love for each other beyond measure we are excited to begin our lives together as husband and wife.

After much planning and anticipation of this day it had finally arrived. Along with Reverb we boarded a plane headed for New York. I had spent the preceding week looking for the perfect ring. My very first stop on the search for the perfect ring was at Tiffany’s. After visiting countless other stores I ended up back at Tiffany’s buying the very first ring I saw.

Now with the ring tucked secretly away in my luggage it was time to go through security at the airport. My greatest fear was that security would decide to search my bag. With Jeremy and Carrie aware of my plan, I had asked Carrie to guide Danielle through another security line ”just in case.” Well it was easier said than done, but we made it through without a problem and were off to New York.

In New York I was anxiously waiting to get to the Empire State Building. So with a little help we were able to make that our first stop. As we got to the top I walked Danielle out on to the observation deck high above the streets of New York. As our friends gathered behind us and strangers began to look on, I got down on one knee and proposed to Danielle. She was in total shock and completely surprised. Of course she said “Yes” and the crowd of friends and strangers began applauding.

I couldn't have pulled this off without the help of Trevor, Kati, Jeremy & Carrie. They are the ones who kept me calm while my anticipation was trying to get the best of me.
