ABOUT VISION STUDENT MINISTRIES

Welcome to Vision Student Ministries!  We are the student ministry of the First United Pentecostal Church (First Church) in Nashville, Tennessee.  Our student ministry embraces the name “Vision” from Proverbs 29:18, which states: “where there is no VISION the people perish…”  When you first read this verse, it is easy to think that vision means literal sight (or the sensory function of seeing).  However, in the context of this scripture, vision refers to much more than natural sight.  It actually means purpose…“without purpose, people perish.”  It is with this understanding, that Vision Student Ministries has become a student ministry driven by purpose.

OUR PURPOSE

Vision Student Ministries exist to reach the students of our generation, to connect them with a community of believers, to help them grow in their faith and to challenge them to discover their ministry while honoring God with a lifestyle of worship.
