MINISTRIES

Vision Student Ministries consists of five classes that are designed to target specific students groups.  The five classes are: the Gate; Ignition, Reverb, Virtue and Image.  Each class is organized by grade so that students can learn and grow together in a relevant and age appropriate setting. 

The Gate is designed for our Jr. High students and meets each week on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.  The Gate is designed for students in the 7th and 8th grades.  Each class begins with a time of community during which students can enjoy breakfast style refreshments (e.g., cereals, juices, pastries, etc.), play video games together or just simply chat about their weeks.  Lessons will be presented in a relevant and age appropriate manner.  The Gate is directed by Philip and Crystal Rickenbaker.

Ignition is our Sr. High class, which meets each week on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.  Ignition is designed for students in the 9th through the 12th grade.  Each class begins with a time of community during which students can enjoy breakfast style refreshments (e.g., cereals, juices, pastries, etc.), play video games together or just simply chat about their weeks.  Lessons will be presented in a relevant and age appropriate manner.  Ignition is direct by our Student Pastors, Jeremy and Carrie White.

Reverb is our 20-somethings class, which meets every week on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.  Reverb is designed for college students and young adults between the ages of 19 and 26.  Before class, students enjoy beverages (e.g., coffee, water) and chat about their weeks.  Each class begins with a brief discussion of current events and then a relevant and age appropriate lesson is presented.  The Directors of Reverb are Micah and Heather Pollock and the Associate Director of Reverb is Blake Tidwell.

Virtue is our young ladies ministry and is designed for young ladies in the 7th through 12th grade.  Virtue meets on a bi-monthly basis (i.e., every other month) on a designated Wednesday evening.  The specific dates are updated on the EVENTS page.  In addition to these bi-monthly growing sessions, Virtue hosts bi-monthly outings that provide opportunities for our young ladies to connect.  Some of the events that Virtue has sponsored include spa days, shopping trips, all-night sleepovers and trips to make pottery.  Virtue is lead by Keirstin Showalter.

Image is our young men’s ministry and is designed for young men in the 7th through 12th grade.  Image meets on a bi-monthly basis (i.e., every other month) on a designated Wednesday evening.  The specific dates are updated on the EVENTS page.  In addition to these bi-monthly growing sessions, Image hosts bi-monthly outings that provide opportunities for our young men to connect.  Some of the events that Image has sponsored include game nights, paintball excursions and all-night lock-ins.  Image is lead by Jeremy White.
